i remember i did some research before i embarked. it wasn't that smooth sailing getting there. i know there is a designated shuttle service but to get to the boarding point wasn't so straight forward. i seem to remember i did not alight at the correct place but i had forgotten how i manage to find the boarding point. i alighted somewhere in the direction of 鄧麗君's memorial park. i seem to remember i took a pee in a 7-11 convenience stall. it was then that i know that certain 7-11 are so big that they can housed a loo.
this is a iconic signature 朱銘 sculpture. i remember i alighted at this junction but the boarding point wasn't here. i believe its somewhere further up. and i think i would had walked there. i didn't remember it to be a far walk.
his taiji series
this is the boarding point for the shuttle service, outside a 鄉公所 i think.
this is the shuttle bus. one of the pickup point is 法鼓山. till now, i have not been there.
exhibits near the entrance
sibling love is also one of his main theme.
every sculpture is unique with a life of its own. this one is call 林四
this is 陳明
no the best of weather. i had my foldable umbrella with me but the rain was so heavy that it did not offer enough assistance. the bottom half of my jeans must had been wet. i remember the wind was blowing and the rain slashing. it was so heavy that i had thought of abandoning the trip. but i saw visitors around me with brollies still in the open. that nudged me to stick on. and i'm glad i did. in fact, the place was very open and there wasn't any shelter to speak of unless you get to the indoor exhibit. moreover, the entrance fee wasn't cheap also. i think it was NT250.
i think Ju Jun refer to his son
there are different themes to his sculpture and this supposedly is military. there is navy and very little air force which i will post later.
國軍 is one of his main theme too. it seem that each soldier is alive and has its own expression. therefore i find myself having a compulsion to snap every single one of them.
